Product Handling Technician

Job Summary:
The Product Handling Technician will support our client's operations in Shannon, Ireland where their OLED products are produced and shipped to customers. This person will perform hands-on work alongside a small team of co-workers in a laboratory/clean room setting at our manufacturing facility in Shannon. The job requires the ability to multi-task and to work in a fast-paced environment. This person also needs to have a keen attention to detail.Â
Responsibilities:
⢠Complete activities associated with the Order Generation and Fulfillment (OGF) process consisting of Receipt, Storage, Selection, Dispensing, Packaging and Shipment of speciality chemicals.
⢠Fulfill any other customer or internal requests including supporting the Quality Management System (QMS) processes
⢠Coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound shipments of materials from the Shannon site. Troubleshoot and resolve shipping and other associated issues as they arise.Â
⢠Monitor and maintain inventory systems for all materials at the operating labs onsite. Transact and deliver materials to operations department at the facility.Â
⢠Immediately escalate issues that have the potential to negatively impact the customer or the process
⢠Maintain highest standard of housekeeping and organization to eliminate error.Â
⢠Work and collaborate with cross functional teams within our client's global structure.Â
⢠Complete other activities as assigned, associated with operations department
⢠Additional duties as required
Qualifications:
⢠Minimum: Leaving Certificate; 3rd level qualification (Certificate/Diploma or Degree) in a technical field preferred.Â
⢠Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience
⢠Experience with weighing and dispensing desirable.Â
⢠Experience within a laboratory or chemical environment, an ISO environment and/or continuous improvement environments are desirable.Â
⢠Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with peers and management. Â
⢠Experience with computer applications such as Microsoft Office, SAP or other ERP systems and familiar with various internet software programs.
⢠Ability to actively participate and contribute to an effective working team, follow instructions, and make recommendations for improvement.Â
