Job Description

Our Streets team in Dublin is seeking an Associate Director with experience of organising and leading design teams on highway and municipal engineering schemes.

Projects we are currently working on include:

• Active travel projects throughout Ireland including the Cycling Design Office

• Public transport projects including BusConnects Dublin and Cork

• Transport Advisory Services focused on technical advice and assistance relating to cycling, walking and personal mobility projects and proposals

• Greenway projects including national network planning and the Galway to Oughterard Greenway

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation preliminary or detailed design and project delivery of traffic engineering, local transport, urban design/streetscape and local authority/municipal highway schemes.

• Prepare detailed client briefs and fee proposals and contribute to major bids whilst developing client relationships.

• Manage projects including monitoring financial performance.

• Keep up to date with current best practice, techniques and innovation.

• Sharing knowledge and supporting team to create a collaborative work environment including contribution to leadership of the Streets Team in Ireland.

Minimum Requirements

• A successful track record in the delivery of multiple municipal engineering projects with excellent technical and communication skills.

• Experience of team management including technical development and mentoring of staff in the performance of their duties

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering Degree

• Chartered Engineer status is desirable
