We are searching for a Application engineer or Senior application engineer

This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw or Lublin and you will join our Modern Workplace team supporting one of the largest banks in Denmark. The team is in charge of platform development/enhancement, application packaging as well as hyper-care.

The application engineer role offers exciting opportunities if you are an application expert and like to work with new technology. Our objective is to migrate the banks 5000 users to our state-of-the-art Modern Workplace platform. As the technology in this area is still very new, we will be continuously developing/enhancing the platform as we onboard users. Hence you will be working on a good mix of platform operation and product development/enhancement. As the team has the end-to-end responsibility for the Modern Workplace platform for our client, there will also be a great opportunity to learn new things and explore new aspects of Modern Workplace design and operations from the other friendly and skilled employees in the Team.

At BEC, we prefer to collaborate in the office, but if you prefer it, you will have the opportunity to work remotely for up to eight days per month. Primary task and responsibilities include:
  • Application packaging and distribution through Intune
  • Individual configuration of packages through scripting
  • Testing and debugging of software packages
  • Vulnerability- and patch-management
  • IT Security and compliance related to software.
  • Knowledge about MacOS software distribution an plus, but not a must
To succeed you will have: 
  • Documented experience on packaging and distributing software in a large organization
  • Knowledge about Intune and/or SCCM
  • Knowledge about Microsoft 365, Azure, Azure AD and Conditional Access
  • Good understanding of networking, security and experience with the Microsoft defender suite
  • A friendly can-do attitude and excellent team player skills
  • A curious mind with an open nature and desire to knowledge-share with others.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
It’s nice-to-have:
  • Experience with MacOS Administration
  • Knowledge about RES Workspace / Ivanti
  • Knowledge about PatchMyPC or similar software distribution tools
