The role: Senior Performance Marketing Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Performance Marketing Analyst to join our Marketing team in Leeds, Dublin or Malta.

The Senior Performance Marketing Analyst will be responsible for waking up every morning & thinking about and caring about acquisition performance across all our channels. They will be responsible for ensuring that our individual channel strategies make sense when laddered up to a concise and coherent cross media strategy for each market. They will collaborate with and challenge teams to ensure we have the best strategic plans based on insight and will ensure we are hitting our acquisition targets both in terms of value and volume.

Reporting to the Head of Media you will work closely with all of the media channels, across Brand and Performance media. You will also work closely with the Marketing managers to align on budgets and support them to align the right level of spend to each of our priority messages for the business. You will build a very close and strong working relationship with our Business Insight teams, and will be responsible for working closely with these teams to translate data into a clear and aligned performance narrative, ensuring we’re able to continually adapt and improve our marketing strategy based on clear, concise and reliable insight. You will be able to pull together different pieces of insight and ensure we’re looking at a well rounded view of performance.

Day-to-day you will be responsible for tracking, reporting on and highlighting channel performance including Activations and CPA. You will also track planned vs actual spend for channels and be able to recommend areas where we should be more efficient vs areas where we should consider scaling. You will help to support media channels with their strategy and plans and act as a sounding board to guide them to consider what targets/ benchmarks they should be setting for their test plans and strategies. You will support the Head of Media with weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting, ensuring stakeholders are aware of and comfortable with the performance of marketing.

  • Responsible for the tracking and reporting of marketing performance

  • Responsible for tracking and reporting on planned vs actual spend

  • Working closely with the full media team to support on marketing strategy based on insight you provide

  • Supporting media channel managers with test plans, ensuring targets and benchmarks for test are set and can be tracked

  • Work closely with the CRO manager to understand the impact of conversion on performance

  • Support the Head of Media with daily, weekly and quarterly performance tracking and reporting

  • Work closely with wider Business insight teams to build a clear, concise and aligned narrative around marketing performance

Who are we looking for:

  • Previous experience in finance, analytics or reporting

  • Knowledge of marketing and of the gambling industry helpful

  • Clear experience of working in a performance analytics role with strong numerical skills

  • Proactive and able to work independently

  • Support channels proactively look for new media, marketing and business opportunities, as well as providing meaningful feedback on how to improve and adapt the global strategy at a local level.

  • You should be a strong teammate with the ability to champion good working relationships.

  • You will need to be proficient in preparing reports and competitor analysis.

  • Highly organised, structured, and accurate. Able to follow guidance in the utmost detail

  • Strong understanding of performance channels & thrive in a results-driven environment.

  • Knowledge of or an interest in online poker, casino and sportsbook is needed.
