With a customer first mindset and working closely with other departments, the successful candidate will design and deliver the overall learning strategy. Furthermore, managing a team of learning specialists and ensue they will provide the necessary technical and soft skills to our organisation.

The overreaching purpose of the role of the Learning Manager is to ensure AXA Partners CLP is delivering first class learning journeys to their employees in order for them to provide the best service to customers and partners.

The role will participate in projects involving new ways of learning and challenging the status quo in order to upskill and re-skill our employees to meet the future skills and ways of working. Aside from global projects, the role represents CLP Operations Learning Team when working with cross-functional key stakeholders and Business Partner Executives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for the design of a first class Operations learning (all regions) as well as an introduction program for all CLP new hires - 'the CLP Onboarding Program'
• Translate Operations strategy into learning strategy, incl. roadmap and action plan to meet the needs of our continuously evolving organization
• Ensure the roadmap & business values will be articulated in different channels and communicated on a periodic basis (report progress/success/risks/priorities).
• Proactively lead the Operations learning agenda and act as the Subject Matter Expert on related topics
• Ensure that Minimum Competency Requirement within Operations are met, sustained and enhanced. This is done by identifying overall training and development needs within Operations through continuous analysis and collaboration with stakeholders
• Co-ordinate the delivery of training and development programs, ensuring technical training for core systems as well as Operational soft skills is being provided and maintained
• Ensure quality delivery of training programs and carry out continuous improvement process to maintain training standards across all locations. Measure and analyze data learning reports. Provide regular updates on performance and visibility of progress
• Foster team innovation, testing new learning solutions and technologies.
• Stay involved in the creation and/or delivery of e-learning packages and new methodologies in workplace learning and apply where needed
• Support Operations Management in the execution of new projects, evaluating training and development programs amending and revising programs as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the business

People Management & Engagement
• Responsible for coaching and supporting direct reports to create a positive work environment where employees feel empowered and are encouraged to develop
• Model the values of AXA in day to day leadership and ensure a positive work environment in line with the needs of a hybrid team
Work with HR, team leaders and Operation Managers on Team Developments; identify training & development needs to drive operational excellence - individual and team level
• Carry out best practice and knowledge sharing between the Learning Specialists to ensure best practices are captured and identified in Operations and oversee its implementation
• Manage day-to-day performance - Train, Coach and Develop all team members in line with business objectives, departmental goals and individual development plans to maximise their potential
• Conduct regular Team Meetings and 1:1's, containing Business updates, developmental opportunities and recognition of great performance/achievements. Promote two-way communication channels with an open and positive work environment
• Support a problem solving and a "can do" attitude promoting a culture which recognises and rewards a job well done
• Champion an agile, value-based culture & community promoting innovation, a culture of continuous improvement and growth mind-set (test & learn)
• Play an active part within the Customer & Employee journey pillar to drive the 5 C's of a Customer & Employee centric organization; communication, community, care, celebration & commitment

Controls & Compliance
• Ensure new learning material are standardized across the regions, up to date, compliant and in line with AXA guidelines as well as signed-off by relevant stakeholders
• Ensure all compliance & regulatory training offerings are completed on time & scope
• Manage and ensure the Learning team remains within cost and budgetary targets

Your Profile

Essential skills and experience
• 5+ years' experience in insurance, financial services or similar industry, ideally in a Operations environment
• Previous experience with leading a successful team to achieve KPI targets
• Proven Management experience
• Experience in designing and facilitating large scale learning initiatives
• Cross-functional teamwork capabilities and experience inspiring and challenge stakeholders to try out new ways of learning
• Strong experience in Project Management and leading improvements initiatives
• Excellent Performance and People Management & Evaluation Skills
• Proficient in Microsoft office, Awareness of Project Management methodologies
• Very good English skills, further language skills is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Strong advantage of project management skills
• Excellent communication skills
