We are looking to recruit a Principal Planning & Environment Consultant to work on large scale and strategic developments for our multinational clients in Ireland and Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with significant experience of planning and permitting to work on large scale projects.

You will enjoy working on multiple large-scale projects in the Irish and international markets across a number of sectors. The successful candidate can work from either of our Irish operational Business Units in Dublin or Cork.

Responsibilities

We are very interested in hearing from all candidates who have the following experience:
Preparation and management of planning applications for large scale sector relevant projects. Management and coordination of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIAR) Management of the interaction between project team members, clients and stakeholders Undertaking pre-application consultation with local authorities, other statutory bodies and stakeholders. A thorough knowledge of the EPA Licence application process and the waste facility licencing process. Provision of environmental consultancy support for regulated facilities

Qualifications

A minimum qualification of a Bachelor's Degree (hons) (Level 8 NQF) in Environmental Science/Engineering or related subject Significant relevant experience in the area of planning and environmental management / consultancy. Excellent knowledge of Irish environmental and planning legislation, policy and practice. Project Management skills. Clear and confident verbal & written communication skills. Proven track record of working on your own initiative. A recognised planning qualification (IPI and/or RTPI accredited) is desirable but not essential.
