John Sisk & Son are delighted to be further developing and strengthening their EDI growth across the business with the addition of an EDI Partner to be based in our new Citywest Head Office.

As a dedicated EDI Partner across our business, you will drive our agenda for Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging. This encapsulates the whole business, including Ireland, UK, and our projects in other European countries across a variety of exciting sectors and groundbreaking projects. We pledge to continue to foster a fully inclusive environment for all – including but not limited to our colleagues, partners and the communities in which we operate.

Based at our Dublin (Ireland) head office with regular travel to our other offices and project sites in Ireland, the UK or – occasionally, in Europe, you will be a key member of our progressive and motivated HR team. The successful candidate will have a pragmatic approach to influence, engage and deliver our EDIB agenda and our culture.

You will be:
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders across the business ensuring to further evolve our EDIB strategy and drive implementation of agreed actions.
  • Design, manage, facilitate and evaluate engaging innovative EDIB learning, and education plans covering topics such as Inclusive Language / Behaviour, EDIB mentoring programme, cultural awareness programmes, and inclusive recruitment.
  • Working closely with the Communications team to create a communications plan for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Taking on a Prominent role in sustaining and aiding the setup of new ERGs within the business and co-delivering associated plans with ERG.
  • Inputting policy and process reviews and development, to cover the full employee lifecycle and breadth of diversity needs.
  • Identifying and working to relevant metrics or KPIs to measure the impact of our plans and to ensure they drive meaningful change as devoted to in Gender Pay Gap reports, Irish Centre for Diversity accreditation process, and employee survey/ feedback.
You will have:
  • Knowledge of EDIB related legislation and keeping abreast of the ongoing changes – mainly for Ireland and UK; ideally also experience in mainland Europe.
  • 3rd level qualification (e.g. HR, Psychology, Business Administration, Management) would be desirable.
  • Proven experience in creating, implementing and delivering new policies.
  • CIPD qualifications (or equivalent EDIB specialist experience).
