MIM has created MetLife Investment Management Europe Limited ("MIM Europe") to serve its customers in the European Union.
MIM Europe will be located in MetLife's existing Dublin Office, located in the City Centre. This is the Insurance Operational Headquarters for our Western and Central Europe Region; in addition, a significant number of our colleagues are focused on supporting our broader EMEA and Global functions. It's home to our Actuarial, Audit, Compliance, Finance, IT, Legal, Operations, Risk and Treasury Teams.
Role Value Proposition:
MetLife Investment Management ("MIM") is a premier asset manager with breadth across various asset sectors and global markets, and strong asset-liability management capabilities. With a ~$600 billion combined domestic and international general account and 3 rd party portfolio, MIM is an important contributor to MetLife's financial performance. The primary objective of MIM is to maximize our client's long-term economic value by investing in assets that support the client's liabilities and produce a consistent stream of operating earnings.
The Distribution Associate role in Institutional Client Group is part of the team responsible for growing the asset management business. This includes developing and maintaining client relationships, coordinating ad hoc requests, participating in meetings and sales presentations, compiling and analyzing data, monitoring industry trends, managing investor inquiries in a manner which contributes to MetLife Investment Management's business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
l Work closely with Sales team members to develop and maintain client relationship across strategic markets and key client segments in the EMEA region.
l Create and maintain existing and prospective client database, including call notes, investor type, commitments, interest in competing strategies, etc. by leveraging salesforce.com functionality.
l Assist Sales team members in the preparation for meetings, calls and other sales activities including logistics, presentation materials, agenda, briefing notes, research and follow ups.
l Actively research prospective clients including recent news, emerging trends, major capital markets activities, and potential regulatory changes.
l Work with internal stakeholders to create marketing materials for use with potential and existing investors, committees, and consultants.
l Engage with investment teams and product specialists to develop knowledge of MIM strategies, products and capabilities.
l Work in partnership with the RFP team to facilitate the completion of request for proposals (RFP) and due diligence questionnaires (DDQ).
l Review marketing materials, RFPs, DDQs and other follow up material prior to distribution to clients and prospects.
l Support onboarding activity for new clients, or terminations for existing clients and transitions of assets.
l Preparation and review of client reporting, if required.

• Exceptional multi-tasking, time management, organization, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management skills including attention to detail, analytical thinking and decisiveness.
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritizing deadlines appropriately and remaining flexible and professional.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to comprehend and discuss about markets and investments. Show a passion in investments and a 'can-do' attitude in developing business.
• Educated to degree level.
Preferred:
• Demonstrated record of success in supporting institutional clients and developing strong working relationships with internal key stakeholders (Sales, Compliance, Legal, Portfolio Management).
• 3+ years of relevant experience in Investment Management and various investment products (real estate & fixed income).
