The Engineering Graduate is responsible for aiding the department in the administration of the site various Plant management systems - Documentation system (EDMs), Learning Management System (LMS), the site's Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS - Maximo), Quality Management System (Trackwise) and Safety Management systems (Gensuite). They are also responsible for ensuring Quality Documentation is prepared, approved, and executed (if applicable) in a compliant manner ensuring conformity to relevant regulatory requirements as well as company specifications and requirements. The incumbent will also support Engineering in the implementation of process improvements and enhancements. This includes Design, Scope Definition, Change Control and Project Management (if required).

Job Description
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The chosen candidate would typically be accountable for the following activities (but not exclusively);
Data trend analysis of all performance aspects within the Engineering Function to identify and proactively manage performance trends.
Supporting and facilitating the investigation and closure of batch impacting deviations in collaboration with site SME’s.
Working in a collaborative manner within the Platforms and contribute to investigations and CAPA closure.
Anticipating, solving, or escalating problems as appropriate.
Collaborate with the different cross functional teams in addressing issues and recommendations.
Planning and executing CI projects, tracking progress against deadlines and reporting results.
Provide guidance to Engineering team on the various plant management systems to assure timely completion of assigned tasks i.e., Trackwise, Gensuite, Veeva.
Provide support for SOPs, Work Instructions, supporting documentation and Protocols.
Assist with the troubleshooting of quality and safety performance trends.
Supporting the closure of Internal and External audits.
Preparing, executing, approving project documentation.
Ability to effectively present information in business-friendly and user-friendly language and respond to questions.
Capable of handling multiple tasks effectively and meeting critical deadlines.
Support the sites Personnel Wellness program.
Support site Safety and Quality programs.
Compliance
Ensure all safety action (ATS, Concern Reports) assigned are actioned and closed in a satisfactory manner.
Ensuring that plant and equipment is operating in a compliant manner and that all activities are conducted to meet GMP regulations, site and corporate quality standards and any additional regulatory requirements as required.
Participate in Engineering’s 5S program.
Strive for the highest standards in housekeeping and GMP.
Ensure that all health, safety & environmental requirements are fulfilled in accordance with the responsibilities defined in the company safety & environmental statements.
Ensuring that all activities are conducted in a compliant manner to meet GMP regulations, site and corporate quality standards and any additional regulatory requirements as required.
Support both Internal and Regulatory audits.
Assist and lead investigations, determining accurate root cause and implementing CAPA actions to prevent reoccurrences.
Ensure all actions that are assigned are actioned and closed in a satisfactory manner
Communications
Attend daily morning meeting with the team to ensure alignment with company and production goals and objectives; (Safety, Quality, Schedule Adherence, Cost).
Represent Engineering on site-based Teams and Platform meetings as required.
Continuous improvement
Support Improvement initiatives by participating in Kaizens and other site Lean initiatives.
Be proactive in surfacing continuous improvement initiatives.
Liaise with other departments around investigation / open action status.
One team.
Follow up and close out assigned actions without requirement for reminders.
Requirements
To apply for a Graduate position, the following criteria are applicable:
Pursuing a relevant third level qualification in Bachelor of Engineering, Science or Quality.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2.1 Grade in their degree course.
Strong academic performance and extracurricular achievement.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and proven track record of teamwork, adaptability, innovation, initiative, and integrity.
A high degree of computer literacy.
