The responsibilities of the Senior Recruitment Consultant will involve:

  • Screening candidates to qualify their relevance for the client and the requirement
  • Providing exceptional customer service to your clients
  • Keeping customer focused through listening to customer needs
  • Monitoring the service provided to your client
  • Ensuring relationships and retention of clients and candidates are kept to a high standard whilst effectively managing their expectations
  • Making outbound calls to potential candidates
  • Ensuring that candidates are compliant with the regulations set
  • Building a solid customer base within your industries
  • Advertising vacancies and conducting searches on appropriate websites
  • Keeping all records accurate and current on the recruitment database
  • Conducting telephone/face-to-face interviews with candidates
  • Growing the company database of candidates to fulfil client requirements
  • Monitoring candidate’s performance for future placement with clients
  • Helping with candidate queries that are raised
  • Assisting with ensuring the company remains fully compliant
  • Meeting or exceeding agreed targets with line manager
  • Acting within the company’s best interests in terms of margins and profitability
  • Keeping up to date with market trends and industry movements affecting your sector of recruitment
  • Obtaining accurate job descriptions, person specifications and other information required to ensure accurate recruitment
  • Other duties as directed by Line Manager

In order to be successful in this role, the Senior Recruitment Consultant will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Minimum of 2 years Pilot recruitment experience
  • Strong administration and good organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to organise and prioritise own work
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Professional manner
  • Flexibility within the role
  • Customer focus
  • Ability to convey information accurately, clearly and in a manner easily understood
  • Experience of using Bullhorn database systems effectively together with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel
