Cpl in partnership with our client Pfizer are seeking a Supply Planner to join the team in their Newbridge site for a minimum 12-month contract.

What You Will Achieve 


Working with a dynamic team of Logistics and Supply Chain experts, you will play a critical role in planning and managing the efficient flow of products and services through the Pfizer supply chain cycle. You will ensure that the products arrive on time and within acceptable quality parameters, meeting the desired marketing and financial objectives. Through your extensive knowledge in logistics management, you will guide the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes and system to meet customer requirements. As a Manager, your planning skills will help in preparing forecasts for resource requirements, and providing areas of improvement for logistics related products, processes or services. You will be able to take a leadership role to facilitate agreements between different teams. It is your dedication and hard work that will make it possible for Pfizerâs customers and patients to receive the medicines they need when they need them.



How You Will Achieve It



Position Summary


Ensure product availability through effective management of available capacity while maintaining cost and quality compliance. Determines daily production schedules based on engineering plans, production specifications, plant capacity, and manpower requirements. Act as a central point for communication between the plant and market relating to demand and supply.


 

General Responsibilities


Ensure strict adherence to site policies/procedures, cGMP/GLP and environmental, health and safety regulations. Ensure the area of responsibility is maintained in a constant state of compliance and audit readiness in line with current regulations, PQS, and business needs. All related procedures and documentation are maintained accordingly. Safety and housekeeping considerations execute responsibilities in line with Right First Time principles ensure resolution of and/or appropriate escalation of issues demonstrating company values and Pfizer competencies Ensure that all department metrics are adhered to provide subject matter expertise and support for systems, technologies and products. Identify Continuous Improvement opportunities and progress Continuous Improvement projects. Participate in for decision-making in consultation with relevant stakeholders. Support the introduction of new products. Report to the department manager.


Key responsibilities:


Build a strong production plan for assigned products. Provide regular updates on progress for different manager levels.

Actively address any risks or constraints with key stakeholders (materials/etc).

Ensure materials to meet supply commitments as well as overseeing MRP.

Strengthen relationship with assigned vendors.

Lead/support business projects with focus in optimization and improvement. Support global implementations.

 


Minimum Requirements


2-3 years production (Scheduling) planning experience.

Ideal candidate would have proficiency in SAP (ECC/APO) and excel.

Ability to change/challenge/improve and optimize processes.

Team player willing to support/backup colleagues when needed.

Passionate about planning and willing to grow within the area.

The candidate needs to be available to be on site a minimum of 3 days per week.

Education Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related / APICS / Certification / minimum 5 years relevant experience in Supply Chain.
