We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our team in expanding and improving our Recognition & Celebrations solutions. This team is at the heart of how Workhuman helps our customers build and sustain cultures of gratitude. These teams design and deliver innovative solutions that enable our customers to spread a culture of recognition and celebration within their workplac es .

Your day-to-day tasks will mainly involve scoping, designing, building, maintaining , and running automated tests for new and existing features in our Social Recognition platform. Our test harness is large and complex: it’s designed to run on all-up, integrated environments, so the harness includes packages to enable you to read from and write to the database; interact with JSON-over- web APIs; abstractions for interacting with the web UI, and more.

Automation Technical Stack

Java, TestNG, Selenium Webdriver , Spring, RestTemplate

TypeScript, Cypress, Node

The value you will deliver

Develop and maintain automated test scripts for new and existing functionality.

Spelunk for test failures using server logs and database queries.

Be involved in the refinement of stories and define the best approach and scope of automated feature validation

Review automation test coverage to ensure quality goals are met.

Communicate test results, metrics and risk assessments to the project stakeholders.

Be self-motivated and manage your time to support multiple streams of work.

The skills you will bring

4+ years’ experience testing Web UIs and APIs in an Agile environment.

Experience in Spring Data Access & Spring Boot (desirable but not essential)

Experience in creating well-defined test frameworks using patterns like the Page Object Model and DRY, and libraries like Spring Boot.

Experience developing and executing automated test suites using CI tools like Jenkins.

Experience diagnosing, reporting, tracking and resolving quality issues.

Intermediate-level experience with SQL.

Good conceptual and practical knowledge of Linux userland.

A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field, or equivalent work experience.
