CLINICAL NURSE MANAGER II (CNMII) –  THEATRE

Full Time Permanent


Bon Secours Hospital Cork is part of the Bon Secours Health System which is the largest independent hospital group in Ireland with over 2,500 staff including 350 leading consultants. We treat more than 200,000 patients annually. We are now inviting applications for the above posts from suitably qualified and experienced candidates.

The successful applicant will be required to enhance and maintain the highest standards in patient care at all times. You will be required to contribute to the effective use of all hospital resources at your disposal and you will be required to maximise staff development in a learning environment. This will include support, motivation and guidance for all employees within your remit.

Candidate Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years post registration experience in an acute general.Proven ability to provide skilled clinical and technical expertise as a member of the Theatre nursing team. Relevant course essential in Peri Anaesthesia and/or Peri Operative nursing or equivalentA management qualification is essentialPreceptorship/teaching and assessing of students is also desirableRegistered in the General Division of the live register of nurses kept by the NMBI


Person Specification:


Excellent interpersonal and team building skills.Must possess exceptional leadership qualities, communication skills and clinical skills.Fluency in English, both written and spokenMust be computer literateFlexibility and excellent use of initiative
