Team Assistant-Hybrid

 

The Zurich Centre of Excellence are currently hiring for a Team Assistant. The successful candidate will be providing high quality, confidential administrative assistance, and support for senior management in the EMEA Technical Centre of Excellence (TCoE) You will be tasked with providing cover for office administration activities, including the office reception, as required. This role is based in the IFSC, Dublin 1.

Your Role

 

As a Team Assistant your responsibilities will provide confidential administrative support for senior management, including but not limited to:

 

  • Acting as a central point of contact, representing senior management and the EMEA TCoE 
  • Managing schedules, coordinating meetings, appointments, and related activities
  • Proactive email management 
  • Preparing meeting materials and recording minutes/actions as needed
  •  Managing expenses, including payments and reporting 
  • Planning and management of travel 
  • Managing procurement and related activities as needed
  • Taking responsibility for ad-hoc projects and other activities as appropriate

 

Technical Competencies

  •  EA experience, with a proven track-record
  • Experience working with senior management 
  • Expert time management, prioritisation, and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication 
  • Experience with MS Office and similar IT Applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel

 

Non-Technical Competencies

  • Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to build rapport and provide support and solutions
  • Highly motivated and flexible, with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Your Skills & Experience

 

As a Team Assistant your skills and experience will include:

  • 2-3 year experience in a similar role
  • A third level degree
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. 
  • Have excellent inter-personal skills.
  • Be able to build rapport and maintain confidentiality.
  • A team player with a flexible, positive attitude towards work. 
  • Excellent attention to detail. 
  • Professional telephone manner and strong organisational skills. 
  • Ability to prioritise own workload within a team environment.
