Job Overview:
BrookLodge & Macreddin Village is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reservation Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing guest reservations efficiently while delivering exceptional service. You will handle booking enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms, ensuring accuracy and prompt communication. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to provide guests with a seamless booking experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage hotel reservations, including processing bookings, modifications, and cancellations.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone, email, and online booking channels.
  • Provide accurate information on room availability, rates, packages, and hotel amenities.
  • Ensure all reservations are correctly recorded in the system, minimizing errors and over-bookings.
  • Communicate with reception and other departments to ensure a smooth check-in process for guests.
  • Assist guests with special requests and tailor their booking experience to their needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel promotions, offers, and local attractions to enhance guest experiences.
  • Handle payment processing and ensure reservation policies are followed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in reservations, customer service, or hospitality is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and manage workload efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends.
  • Knowledge of Hotsoft booking system is an advantage.
