Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Psychiatric Nurse to provide skilled and empathetic care to patients within our psychiatric units. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans that cater to the unique needs of each individual.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their physical and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans that address patients' goals and outcomes.
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess:
  • A current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse in a similar setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
