We are seeking a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team within at The Tower Hotel. This exciting role offers the unique opportunity to work across multiple kitchen outlets, each offering a distinct menu and culinary experience.

The Tower Hotel is Waterford's premier 4-star city centre hotel and is superbly located overlooking the Marina and Reginald's Tower. The hotel is just a 3-minute stroll from the city's shopping and entertainment hot spots, and the premier business district.'

We are part of the Neville Hotel group, a family-owned Irish Hotel Group with four iconic hotels, with a fifth on the way: Within the group is The 4* Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire County Dublin, The 5* Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort in Wicklow, The 4* Kilkenny River Court Hotel, The 4* Tower Hotel & Leisure Centre in Waterford City, The Ravenport Resort in Curracloe, Wexford, and Whites of Wexford.

About You:

  1. Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a hotel environment.
  2. Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
  3. Flexibility to work across different styles of cuisine and kitchen formats.
  4. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  6. Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications preferred.

The Role:

  1. Prepare and present high-quality dishes within assigned sections across multiple hotel kitchens.
  2. Maintain high standards of food hygiene and follow all health & safety regulations.
  3. Assist with stock control, inventory checks, and daily mise en place.
  4. Supervise and mentor Commis Chefs and other junior kitchen staff.
  5. Collaborate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service during busy periods and events.
  6. Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control across various dining venues.
  7. Uphold cleanliness and organization in all working areas.
