We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager I - Day Ward in a Hospital in Galway, Ireland.
34 hours per week/Part-Time
Responsibilities
- Ensures that nursing care is delivered to the greatest possible standard using evidence-based care planning in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- In collaboration with the CNM, 11 is responsible for the effective management of the Day Ward and the coordination of all nurse care activities to provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care for patients.
- Provision of professional / clinical leadership of staff within the ward/unit.
- Supervision of qualified and unqualified staff whilst maintaining a safe working environment.
- Leading in the organisation of continuing nursing education by participating in teaching, guidance and assessment of staff.
Requirements- Registered nurse with NMBI registration
- Suitable management experience and /or qualification
- Minimum of 5 years post registration experience,
- Experience in management with excellent interpersonal, leadership & communication skills
