What you’ll be doing...

As Senior Manager - Business Intelligence for Global Sourcing, Supply Chain and Sustainability at Verizon’s Center Of Excellence (COE) in Limerick, Ireland, you will lead a team of master data management specialists at the COE to maintain master data in Verizon’s ERP systems such as nSAP, vSAP, wSAP and 1ERP. You will closely collaborate with a counterpart in the United States to ensure that the business needs are met in a timely manner leveraging the follow-the-sun model of operations.

You will be responsible to:

  • Understand operational business processes and opportunities across Global Sourcing, Supply Chain and Sustainability.
  • Lead the operations support for master data management (including materials, contracts and pricing) in multiple ERP systems.
  • Provide executive statuses and updates at various levels.
  • Ensure that SLAs relating to incident management, fallout resolution and master data quality are adhered to.
  • Drive opportunities for continuous improvement in the day-to-day operations and end user support.
  • Make recommendations regarding the hiring, firing, advancement, performance, promotion or any other change of status of team members. Assess employee performance, hold employees accountable, take appropriate corrective actions, and train and provide ongoing direction and feedback to team members.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Management or Computer Science or Information Technology or related fields.
  • Eight or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience working with and supporting SAP suite of products (S4 HANA, Ariba, IBP, CAR, MDG).
  • Experience in leading cross functional teams with understanding of how business and technical requirements interweave to create product solutions.
  • Knowledge of systems development life cycle within a large global enterprise environment.
  • Ability to manage and balance business and technical requirements.
  • Experience in communicating (written and spoken) highly technical, multi-faceted solutions to business partners in a simple, understandable manner.
  • Experience managing large-scale programs with end-to-end accountability.
  • Highly organized with an ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal communication, organization and project management skills.
  • Experience using Google G-Suite Applications and Microsoft Office Applications.

Even Better if you have:

  • SAP Certification in SAP Master Data Governance.
  • Hands-on experience with Service Now for supporting end users.
  • Ten or more years of successful experience with strategic solutions and/or systems integration design and solutions.
  • Communication, organization, and negotiation skills with the ability to successfully work multiple projects simultaneously.
