We are hiring a Radiographer to a leading Hospital in Dublin,Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Participate in normal daily inspections of equipment and quality assurance procedures. Report any faults or concerns to the RSM or Clinical Specialist in the area where you work.
- Be aware of one's own limitations in terms of skill and experience, and do not be hesitant to seek assistance or advise from more senior colleagues.
- To follow the directions of the RSM, Consultant Radiologist, Clinical Specialist, more experienced professionals, and departmental protocols as applicable.
- Maintain current knowledge of radiographic and imaging methods, as well as participate in in-service training as needed. To engage in ongoing professional development actively.
- To be responsible for the overall cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of the Department, with a focus on their work area. Familiarise themselves with current infection control procedures.
- To be conversant with and follow all Health and Safety rules and guidelines.
- To report all flaws and incidents that may jeopardise safety.
- To give a high-quality service to patients by treating each one as an individual with civility, friendliness, efficiency, effectiveness, and confidentiality.
Requirements- BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography. CORU registered.
- It is desirable to have post-qualification experience in a radiology department.
- The ability to read, analyse, and interpret standard scientific and technical periodicals, financial reports, and legal papers.
- The ability to reply to common questions or concerns from consumers, regulatory bodies, or members of the business community.
