We are proud to be launching a new state-of-the-art technology facility in Dublin, Ireland. The Dublin-based team will play a critical role in our continued digital transformation and will function as a center of excellence for SiriusXM's global Product and Technology organization.

SiriusXM's new Dublin facility will comprise a workforce primarily focused on software development, automotive technology and engineering, AdTech, data science, and analytics. Talent based in the new technology hub will be charged with developing and implementing best-in-class standards for high-quality, scalable software deliveries for SiriusXM's streaming and in-vehicle audio entertainment platforms.

What you'll do:

  1. Develop innovative enhancements and add new features for SiriusXM's web applications.
  2. Support team members by participating in code-reviews and ensuring adherence to established development processes.
  3. Facilitate the troubleshooting of pre- and post-production issues, working closely with the development team.
  4. Ensure that solutions align with established architecture patterns and technical guidelines to maintain system integrity and scalability.
  5. Follow high-level standards across design and development, reducing technical debt and improving maintainability.
  6. Analyze business requirements and recommend resilient technical solutions that improve system performance while staying within the existing framework.
  7. Be familiar with the overall software stack and the software components of the applications and website we build and always be looking for ways to optimize and improve.
  8. Work with UX Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to ensure that user-facing products follow consistent design principles.

What you'll need:

Educational Background:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Professional Experience:

  1. 2+ years of experience developing scalable, high-volume web applications.

Technical Skills:

  1. Proficiency in core Angular (v18+ preferred) and TypeScript including a deep understanding of its practices and commonly used modules.
  2. Solid grasp of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
  3. Experience creating custom, reusable modules and components to extend core Angular functionalities.
  4. Experience with CI/CD environments like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  5. Proficiency in writing unit, integration, and acceptance tests using frameworks such as Jest, Vitest, or similar.
  6. Ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple levels of the web application stack.

Collaboration and Communication:

  1. Excellent collaboration skills with UI/UX and Product teams.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Additional Qualifications:

  1. A growth mindset with the ability to learn quickly.
  2. Exposure to architectural design patterns of highly scaled web applications is advantageous.
  3. Experience building responsive and mobile web experiences is beneficial.
  4. A solid understanding of web standards, successful practices, accessibility, and browser compatibility issues is desirable.
