The chosen individual will be pivotal in ensuring that aircraft maintenance actions are meticulously performed, certified, and documented to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities:Use applicable current maintenance data, work order instructions, and information systemsDocument the performance of all maintenance actions and compile and control completed work cardsFollow procedures detailed in the MOE and supporting manualsIdentify and rectify existing and potential unsafe conditionsAdhere to safety and deactivation/reactivation requirementsFollow procedures detailed in customers' approved documentationUse calibrated tooling and equipment recommended by the manufacturerMaintain the work environment in a clean and safe mannerComply with internal and mandatory reporting requirementsApply good communication and assertiveness skillsComply with work interruption and handover proceduresComply with safety policy requirementsSign off maintenance tasks performed or supervised within the scope of authorisationSign certificates of release to service within the scope of certifying staff authorisationPerform functions and responsibilities associated with support staff role within the scope of authorisationMaintain experience records in support of continued competenceEssential Job Function: The licenced engineer's responsibilities include ensuring all relevant tasks or inspections are completed to a required standard before the certificate of release to service is issued by the category C certifying staff. This includes:Confirming each item/task of work has been documented and actionedInspecting aircraft for absence of dirt, extraneous matter, tools, etc., prior to closing any area or panelPlanning performance of critical tasksDetermining required qualifications for task performanceConsidering human performance and limitations during maintenanceDocumenting and rectifying discrepancies detected during inspections or non-routine maintenanceSupervising maintenance activities to ensure completion to the standards outlined in the MOEMaintaining aircraft, components, and equipment when requiredCompleting any other reasonable tasks requested by the Production Management teamTypical Working Conditions & Physical Demands:Use of ladders, work stands, and lifts, with access to all aircraft areas during dutiesComfortable working at heights and in confined spacesPhysical exertion such as pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and light liftingMaintaining required medical standardsWork performed at the Hangar in Shannon and potentially offsite for AOG supportMandatory use of provided PPEPossible night, weekend, holiday, and overtime workSatisfying and maintaining airport security requirementsCandidate Requirements:Holding or having held an EASA PART 66 B1 Aircraft Maintenance License with company base maintenance approvalsType ratings on one or more of the following: 737 (CL or NG), 757, and/or 767Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detailStrong work ethic, reliability, self-motivation, positive attitude, and customer service orientationRequired night, weekend, holiday, and overtime workProficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding EnglishIf you are an experienced and highly motivated B1 Licensed Engineer and meet the qualifications above, we encourage you to apply now.
