A leading wealth management firm is seeking an experienced Head of Client Asset Oversight to lead the client asset oversight team in collaboration with the Chief Risk Officer.

Role Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the client asset oversight function, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Report to the risk and compliance committee and board of directors on client asset matters.
  • Day-to-day oversight and compliance with client asset regulations (CAR), including Daily Calculation and Daily Reconciliation.
  • Produce, maintain, review, and update the Client Asset Management Plan (CAMP) as necessary.
  • Collaborate with all lines of defence to identify and mitigate client asset related risks.
Requirements
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Client Asset rules and regulations in Ireland, along with associated guidance and application to businesses and processes.
  • Knowledge of MiFID/UK CAAS is advantageous.
  • Experience delivering/managing a compliance function focused on client asset regulations.
  • Operational risk expertise, with ability to identify risks and develop mitigating controls across front-to-back processes.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication skills.
