Job Opportunity: Educational Psychologist SLD Assessments Location: Dublin/Galway/Cork, Ireland (Flexible options available) Employment Type: Contract/Freelance Salary: Competitive, based on experience per assessment About the Role With clinics in multiple locations across Ireland, a well-established educational and psychological services provider in Ireland is seeking a passionate and experienced Educational Psychologist to join their growing team. This role focuses on conducting high-quality assessments for Specific Learning Difficulties (SLDs), including dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia, for children aged 8 and above. You will play a key role in identifying learning needs, supporting educational planning, and helping individuals reach their full potential through evidence-based recommendations. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychoeducational assessments for SLDs in childrenInterpret cognitive, academic, and behavioural data to inform diagnosis and interventionPrepare comprehensive, accessible reports with tailored recommendationsLiaise with families, schools, and allied professionals to support implementation Requirements Recognised qualification in Educational Psychology Registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) Experience in administering and interpreting standardised assessments for SLDsStrong report-writing and communication skillsA client-centred, empathetic approach to assessment and support What's Offered Flexible working arrangements (hybrid, or clinic-based)Competitive remuneration Access to a collaborative, multidisciplinary teamOpportunities for professional growth and specialisationA meaningful role making a real difference in learners lives
