The Group is structured across two divisions: Ornua Foods and Ornua Ingredients. Ornua Foods is responsible for the marketing and sales of Ornua's consumer brands, including Ireland's most successful food export, Kerrygold, as well as Kerrygold Dubliner, Pilgrims Choice, Forto and BEO milk powders.

Ornua Ingredients is responsible for the procurement of Irish and non-Irish dairy products, for the sale of dairy ingredients to food manufacturing and foodservice customers across the world, and for managing volatility through de-risking and trading strategies.

W HY T HIS R OLE IS V ALUABLE

Reporting to the Finance Director – Group Services, the Finance Business Partner FP&A will drive improvement in financial planning and analysis at a Group level, provide financial support to the Group Executive functions of Finance, HR, Risk and Compliance, and IT, and support ongoing work with the Ornua Board and Sub-Committees.

The successful candidate will bring an analytical, process driven, "hands-on" approach to this work and will identify process improvements, cost reduction opportunities, and drive greater financial understanding across the non-finance functions.

K EY A REAS OF R ESPONSIBILITY:

Support periodic reporting to the Ornua Board and coordination of responses to Board requests on an ad-hoc basis. Play a lead role in supporting the IT function on monthly P&L and Capex management, quarterly forecasting, and compilation of annual budget, working closely with the IT SLT. Drive understanding of Group costs with improved reporting and variance analysis. Play a lead role in Group Financial Planning and Analysis, to incorporate 5 Year Plans, Annual Budgets and Quarterly Forecasts. Support financial performance management (P&L, Costs, etc.) at a Group level, clearly explaining periodic variances to Budgets and Forecasts, and identifying mitigation actions to deliver against financial targets. Development of financial and operational scorecards to support decision making. Develop financial business cases for initiatives in Group Finance, HR, Risk and Compliance (including Procurement) and IT, supporting ad-hoc financial analysis in these functions.

Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA). Very proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel a distinct advantage Strong analytical and financial modelling skills Good collaborator with effective communication and people skills Strong influencing skills Ability to lead and drive change.
