The successful candidate will have a strong background in content creation, exceptional writing skills, and a solid understanding of digital marketing channels. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and deliver compelling content that aligns with our brand voice and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with overall marketing goals and brand guidelines.
  • Create high-quality and engaging content, including blog posts, social media content, videos, animations, and product photography and videography.
  • Work with the commercial team to showcase the B2B projects undertaken by McSport, visiting fit-outs and capturing video content and creating case studies for their marketing campaigns.
  • Work alongside the digital marketing team in ideation and implementation of marketing campaigns from ad assets to organic content across all social channels.
  • Manage the content editorial calendar, ensuring timely and consistent delivery of content across various channels.
  • Monitor and analyse content performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content marketing.
  • Maintain brand consistency and ensure all content aligns with the company's tone of voice and messaging.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field advantageous but not essential.
  • Proven work experience as a Content Creator or a similar role with a portfolio.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for grammar, punctuation, and storytelling.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating various types of content (blogs, product photography, social media, videos, etc.) for different channels and formats.
  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices and the ability to optimize content accordingly.
  • Proficiency in using content marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Sprout Social, CapCut, etc.).
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and a constant desire to learn and improve.
  • A passion for sports and fitness is a huge bonus.
