Job Overview:
You will be responsible for overseeing all operations, ensuring the highest standards of luxury and service. In addition to traditional management responsibilities, you will also play a key role in driving the digital presence and social media strategy, engaging with guests, and promoting our brand in a compelling and innovative manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Operations:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth coordination across all departments (front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, concierge, maintenance).
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
Social Marketing & Brand Development:
- Create and execute an effective social media strategy to promote the luxury offerings, creating engaging content and campaigns across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Collaborate to curate digital content that reflects the brand values and unique experiences.
- Manage and grow the online presence, including responding to guest reviews, engaging with followers, and enhancing brand visibility.
- Identify influencers, partnerships, and opportunities for cross-promotion to increase reach and engagement.
Guest Relations & Experience:
- Champion an exceptional guest experience, ensuring that each visitor feels valued and appreciated.
- Handle guest feedback, resolve issues promptly, and implement improvements to ensure satisfaction.
- Promote a culture of personalised service and attention to detail, which is a hallmark of luxury hospitality.
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-control measures.
- Maximize profitability through strategic pricing, sales, and marketing efforts.
- Analyse key performance indicators and adjust operations and marketing strategies to meet financial goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, luxury hospitality standards, and social media marketing trends.
- Identify new opportunities to differentiate the property in a competitive market and lead initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Create seasonal offers, packages, and promotions to attract new guests and retain loyal ones.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior leadership role in luxury hotels or resorts.
- Strong background or passion for learning social media management/marketing, content creation, and digital marketing (especially in the hospitality industry).
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams and departments while delivering outstanding results.
- Strong business acumen with a track record of financial and operational success.
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively, with a focus on delivering unique guest experiences and creating compelling online content.
- A passion for luxury hospitality and commitment to excellence in service.
- Knowledge of all aspects of Health & Safety
- Knowledge of HACCP.
Preferred:
- A qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Familiarity with analytics tools and social media marketing platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Instagram Insights, etc.).
- Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
- The MOST important thing you will have is Hospitality experience at managerial level and, a genuine passion for people, meeting new people and creating experiences for guests that will last a lifetime.
- Confidence, personality and the ability to delight customers is paramount in a role like this.
