Job Description:

CPL Healthcare is delighted to announce our partnership with our client who works with young people to provide high-quality care – protecting and supporting them to build resilience and recover from early life trauma. Through this, they can help their young people reach their full potential and give them a chance at a brighter future.

We are accepting applications for the position of Social Care Manager. This service is based in Thurles, Tipperary. The Manager is responsible for the care delivered to the young people living in the residential service and for the staff who deliver that care. S/he ensures that the care provided meets company policies, procedures, national regulations, and that the environment is homely, clean, safe, and appropriate for the young people's ages and stages of development.

To be considered for the role, interested applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • A Bachelor or MA/MSc in Social Care, Applied Social Studies in Social Care, Social Work, Social Care Management, or related Social Care Qualification.
  • Full, clean, manual driver's license (valid in Ireland).
  • Knowledge of the Irish National Standards in Children's Residential Centres.
  • Eligible to work in Ireland.
  • Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience working with young people if holding a Level 8 degree.
  • Minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience working with young people if holding a Level 7 degree.
