About The Role & Team

SITA is proud to present a great opportunity for a highly motivated Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic ‘Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering’ team. You will be part of a diverse and creative team that is continually striving to offer the best quality products and services that are continuously transforming air travel.

Cloud computing continues to allow us to transform and consolidate IT infrastructure, automate workloads, and pursue further levels of innovation. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at SITA, you will assist in the development & deployment of cloud infrastructure that supports our business applications and services. Having excellent troubleshooting skills, you will also stay current with industry trends and should be a strong team player. What You’ll Do

  1. Function as part of a multi-disciplinary squad to develop and deploy cloud-based infrastructure in public or private cloud platforms.
  2. Participate in Agile ways of working to help deliver our products and reach delivery on project commitments.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, engineers, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of cloud services.
  4. Participate in design reviews and creation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate cloud provisioning.
  5. Be passionate about scripting, developing, crafting, and evolving automation following best practices and principles.
  6. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies.

Qualifications

ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

  1. 3-5 years’ experience with development & deployment of AWS cloud-based infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
  2. Strong proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  3. Working knowledge of AWS services, including compute, storage, networking, and databases.
  4. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GITLab, AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
  5. Practical ability to work on operating systems such as Linux and Windows.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, desire to learn and adopt new technologies along with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  7. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  8. AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Developer, or SysOps Administrator).

NICE-TO-HAVE

  1. Good understanding of networking concepts (VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, Security Groups) as well as AWS Network services such as Transit Gateway, CloudFront, Network Loadbalancer, Route 53 etc.
  2. Familiarity with AWS ECS (Elastic Container Service), EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and understanding of Docker concepts and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
