We are hiring an Enhanced Staff Nurse - Operating Theatre for a Private Hospital in Dublin, Ireland. We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality, respect, caring, and compassion are central to all we do.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Create and record a care plan based on best practices and the needs of the patient.
  • Revise the computerized or printed care plan.
  • Create individualized and suitable patient education and discharge plans, and make use of the ward's resources.
  • In line with the patient care plan, cooperate with other members of the healthcare team within the designated clinical area.
  • Establish discharge standards as soon as the patient is admitted.
  • Make time in your schedule for meetings, training, and other activities.
  • Perform operations in accordance with established policy and procedures and provide safe, thorough nursing based on current standards and research.
  • Care plans should be properly reviewed and updated.
  • Assess one's own nursing practice in relation to care standards and be aware of one's own capabilities.
Requirements:
  • Registered with the NMBI's general division.
  • Three years or more of experience in either orthopaedic or general theatre.
  • Proof of individual professional growth.
  • Continuous skill development that is pertinent to the care needed for the patient caseload.
