We are hiring an Enhanced Staff Nurse-Medical/Surgical Ward for our Hospital in Dublin, Ireland. We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality, respect, caring, and compassion are central to all we do.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities
  • Evaluation, Planning, Execution, and Assessment
  • Identifying the requirements of patients upon admission by applying evaluation methods and skills.
  • Accurately and completely recording nursing admission assessments.
  • Continuously evaluate the patient's condition.
  • Clearly state which patient issues will require nursing care.
  • Create and record a care plan based on best practices and the needs of the patient.
  • Revise the computerized or printed care plan.
  • Create individualized and suitable patient education and discharge plans, utilizing the ward's resources.
  • In line with the patient care plan, cooperate with other members of the healthcare team within the designated clinical area.
  • Establish discharge standards as soon as the patient is admitted.
  • Allocate time in your schedule for meetings, training, and other activities.
  • Using current guidelines and research, provide safe, thorough nursing care, and carry out procedures in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
Requirements
  • Registered with the NMBI's general division
  • Proof of individual professional growth
  • Continuous skill development that is pertinent to the care needed for the patient caseload.
