Assistant Manager or Manager, Tax Advisory

Interpath is a financial advisory firm dedicated to providing our professionals with an agile, independent, and conflict-free environment to excel. Our experienced Tax Advisory team aids businesses in navigating complex tax legislation while optimising their tax positions across various jurisdictions.

We are currently seeking either an Assistant Manager or a Manager to join our Tax Advisory team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to deliver high-quality tax advice on a wide range of topics, including corporate tax compliance, international tax issues, and tax restructuring, among others.

Your role will involve managing client relationships, leading projects, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team to provide integrated solutions tailored to our clients' needs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse clientele while ensuring accuracy.
  • Manage and mentor junior staff, providing guidance to enhance their professional development and technical capabilities.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize tax positions while minimizing risks and liabilities.
  • Identify opportunities for business development and assist in producing proposals and pitch materials for potential clients.
  • Conduct thorough research on tax legislation and prepare detailed documentation to support tax positions.
  • Collaborate with client accounting teams and other advisory services within the firm to offer comprehensive solutions.

Requirements:

  • For Assistant Manager: 2-4 years of experience in tax advisory, preferably within a consultancy or accounting firm.
  • For Manager: 4-6 years of experience in tax advisory, with a track record of managing client engagements.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) are preferred.
  • Solid understanding of tax legislation and its implications for corporate clients.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and relay complex tax information to clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build client relationships.
  • Good project management and organizational skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and multitasking.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
