Gen Foreperson | Residential Developer

Dublin | €70-€80k (DOE)

Irelands leading Residential Developer is seeking General Forepersons for multiple Residential sites in Dublin North, South and West.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the management of Health and Safety on the project
  • Understand target delivery programme, weekly reporting of same and active intervention to prevent delays
  • Attend and assist at daily whiteboard meetings
  • Continuous inspection of works on site, raising and resolving issues in a timely manner to ensure quality of works. Subcontractor and Supplier Management
  • Completion of daily allocation sheets for site labour and materials
  • Management of civil engineering and groundworks contractor
  • Take control of works from house foundations, through to 1st & 2nd fix including external finishes, paving, boundary walls and landscaping
  • Management and coordination of subcontractors and service providers, to ensure timely handover to Finishing Foreman in line with programme requirements

Key Requirements:

  • Trade background preferable
  • Minimum 2 years in a General foreman role, preferably on residential projects
  • An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets
  • To have good spoken and written communication skills
  • To be good at working with people at all levels and willing to work in a team
  • To be able to co-ordinate a number of different projects at the same time
