Legal Advisor, Permanent Role – Distribution & Products.

We are seeking a skilled Legal Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting and negotiation skills, as well as experience in funds and asset management with a solid foundation in contract law.

The successful candidate will be a Solicitor and/or Barrister with 3 to 4 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in asset management or global financial services. Experience of UCITS/AIFMD/MiFID II/CBFD/CP86/CSSF is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting, reviewing, and amending contractual arrangements with distribution counterparties.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and maintaining agreements in the intercompany distribution contractual framework.
  • Drafting legal documentation (prospectus, supplements, management regulations, etc.) pertaining to Luxembourg-domiciled and Irish-domiciled funds and managing filings with the relevant supervisory authorities.
  • Supporting the maintenance of the registration framework and processes around passporting requirements of products in the EU and in other non-EU jurisdictions.
  • Monitoring and reporting on regulatory developments at EU/global level pertaining to distribution marketing.
  • Providing a general legal service to the Product Development, Investments, Sales, and Distribution teams across the Group in terms of responding to and advising on queries received.
  • Working with Product, Sales, and Distribution teams to ensure awareness of laws and regulations.
