About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Health and Safety Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our workplace complies with all health and safety regulations and that our employees work in a safe and healthy environment.
The successful candidate will be based at our Head Office in Mallow, Co. Cork and will be required on occasion to travel to branch offices across Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK for training and client meetings.
A highly varied, challenging role providing invaluable exposure to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and proceduresReview regular risk assessments and safety auditsProvide training and guidance to employees on health and safety practicesInvestigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actionsEnsure compliance with safety regulationsMaintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and trainingCollaborate with management to promote a culture of safety within the organisationStay up to date with the latest health and safety regulations and best practicesLiaising with clients and represent the company in meetingsPrepare tender documents for HSQE segment of submittalProvide support and advice to EPS on aspects of strategy and implementation of health and safety policyCollaborate to develop the EPS Health and Safety strategyKey Competencies and Skills:
Proven experience as a Health and Safety Advisor or similar roleIn-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practicesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and competence in report writingQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related fieldProfessional certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferredFull Irish Driving LicenceCompensation Package:
