Coopman Search & Selection are delighted to be partnering with a leading financial services company who are searching for a Regulatory Reporting Accountant to join their growing team in Dublin.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Regulatory and Financial Duties which will include but not be limited to:
  2. Proactively engage/develop working relationships with the Group Regulatory Reporting team and other internal teams that have an input into the Central Bank of Ireland regulatory returns.
  3. Work closely with relevant internal stakeholders on the preparation, review and submission of statistical payment returns.
  4. Support the regulatory returns submissions process for the branch.
  5. Ensure regulatory returns are completed, reviewed and submitted to the CBI in a timely manner.
  6. Act as a key contact for CBI and Group queries, working closely with colleagues on responses in line with deadlines.
  7. Ongoing review and development of process documentation in relation to Finance/Regulatory returns.
  8. Own the supplier invoice process in conjunction with the Accounts Payable function.
  9. Assist with cost management analysis, engaging with the Group cost management team.
  10. Proactively support the Finance Manager with financial management processes.

Core Competencies

  1. Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
  2. 2 years post qualification experience, preferably in the financial services industry or a banking environment.
  3. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills required for effective stakeholder engagement.
