Key Responsibilities
- Regulatory and Financial Duties which will include but not be limited to:
- Proactively engage/develop working relationships with the Group Regulatory Reporting team and other internal teams that have an input into the Central Bank of Ireland regulatory returns.
- Work closely with relevant internal stakeholders on the preparation, review and submission of statistical payment returns.
- Support the regulatory returns submissions process for the branch.
- Ensure regulatory returns are completed, reviewed and submitted to the CBI in a timely manner.
- Act as a key contact for CBI and Group queries, working closely with colleagues on responses in line with deadlines.
- Ongoing review and development of process documentation in relation to Finance/Regulatory returns.
- Own the supplier invoice process in conjunction with the Accounts Payable function.
- Assist with cost management analysis, engaging with the Group cost management team.
- Proactively support the Finance Manager with financial management processes.
Core Competencies
- Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
- 2 years post qualification experience, preferably in the financial services industry or a banking environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills required for effective stakeholder engagement.
