For Takeda Ireland Ltd, we are looking for a Quality Control Analyst for a full-time fixed-term (11-month) position at our location in Bray, Co. Wicklow, Ireland.

As a QC Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our pharmaceutical products. This position requires a deep understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and current FDA & EMEA regulations for solid oral dosage pharmaceuticals. Your expertise in manufacturing, packaging, and validation processes will be crucial in maintaining our commitment to excellence.

Your tasks in detail:

  1. Ensure strict adherence to GLP/cGMP standards.
  2. Conduct comprehensive testing of laboratory samples.
  3. Perform laboratory tests following written procedures or pharmacopoeia guidelines.
  4. Accurately record and report analytical results.
  5. Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments.
  6. Develop and execute validation protocols for instruments and methods.
  7. Maintain detailed and up-to-date training records.
  8. Keep the laboratory environment clean, organized, and safe.
  9. Manage the ordering, receiving, and control of laboratory chemicals, reagents, and consumables.
  10. Promote and embody the corporate values of Takeda-ism and foster a culture of safety awareness.

Your profile:

  1. A minimum of a BSc. in science or a related discipline, providing a strong foundation in scientific principles and methodologies.
  2. Proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry, showcasing your ability to navigate and excel in a highly regulated environment.
  3. At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in an analytical lab, demonstrating your proficiency in laboratory techniques and procedures.
  4. Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills, enabling you to effectively manage tasks and collaborate with team members.
  5. Adaptability to changing priorities, ensuring you can thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
