IT Project Manager

Our client, a multi-nation Automotive Distribution firm, is looking to recruit an experienced IT Project Manager to join their IT team. The IT Project Manager will work with key stakeholders to define project priorities and key milestones while effectively managing tasks to ensure timely execution of project delivery.

The firm is embarking on an exciting IT transformation journey, and you will play a vital role in getting there. This is a permanent role based in Dublin 22, and the firm operates a hybrid model.

The Role:

  • Lead and manage complex IT Finance projects, ensuring alignment and interdependencies with other projects within the programme.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and other key project management documentation.
  • Ensure complete and comprehensive project documentation.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business, Suppliers, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and other key stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Identify, mitigate, and escalate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies (Information security, data protection, etc.), procedures, and standards.
  • Facilitate project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status updates, and post-project reviews, to ensure effective communication and alignment among team members.

The Person:

  • 5 years proven experience managing complex IT projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on managing complex IT Finance projects.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and other key project management documentation.
  • Ability to ensure complete and comprehensive project documentation.
  • Proficient in coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Skilled in identifying and mitigating project risks and issues.
  • Effective communicator of project status and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Knowledge of compliance with company policies (Information security, data protection, etc.), procedures, and standards.
  • Experience in facilitating project meetings to ensure effective communication.
