Retail Assistant Manager

Are you ready to take the lead in a thrilling retail environment and drive success for one of the largest and most exciting big box retailers in Ireland? Our client is on the lookout for an exceptional Assistant Manager to be the heartbeat of their store operations in Naas, Co. Kildare.

As Assistant Manager , you'll have the opportunity to shape and influence customer experience, employee engagement, and operational efficiency. You will lead a dedicated team of enthusiastic individuals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence. Your leadership will be instrumental in creating an environment where each team member thrives and contributes to our client's collective success.

Your responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring a seamless and efficient customer experience. From inventory management to staffing, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining operational excellence. Delight customers with exceptional service. Your passion for creating a positive shopping experience will be key in building and retaining a loyal customer base. Lead by example, motivating and inspiring your team to achieve and exceed targets. Your leadership style should be one that fosters teamwork, creativity, and a customer-centric mindset. Thrive in a fast-paced environment by thinking on your feet. Your ability to troubleshoot and make sound decisions will be crucial in overcoming challenges and ensuring a smooth operation. Foster clear and effective communication channels with both team members and higher management. Your ability to convey expectations and feedback will contribute to a harmonious and high-performing work environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a big box or large format store. Experience leading teams of 25+ and turnovers of 2+ million. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
