Commercial Account Executive - Munster Group (Full Time)Ennis, IrelandDescription

Munster Group Ennis in conjunction with Campion Insurance is one of the largest insurance brokers in Ireland as part of the PIB Group. We provide our clients with solutions to all their insurance needs ranging from home and motor insurance, to complex commercial business packages. We also provide a full range of health, life, pension, investment and mortgage products.

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join the Commercial team in Ennis, as a Commercial Account Executive.

You will be responsible for maintaining a large book as well as developing and growing an existing commercial insurance client portfolio, capable of delivering significant account growth whilst being comfortable operating in a fully compliant environment. You will be provided with some prospects to get you started; however, this role is suited to a positive and proactive self-starter who is willing to build their account from the lead generation phase through to closing the sale. Hard-work, determination and commitment will ensure your success within this role.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Achieve monthly new business and renewals targets.
  2. Proactively build your sales pipeline.
  3. Become an expert in your target area.
  4. Grow and develop niche knowledge in new business sectors.

Skills / Knowledge

  1. Proven sales and negotiation skills.
  2. Possess excellent technical knowledge.
  3. Excellent customer service skills to earn the loyalty of our customers.
  4. Ability to network and build relationships.
  5. Proactive approach to building and managing your account.
  6. Focus market and competitor insight.
  7. Excellent presentation skills and be confident presenting at boardroom level.

Qualifications and Experience

  1. APA Commercial, CIP, or ACII qualification.
  2. Minimum 2 years’ commercial insurance experience in a similar role.
