About Them:

They are a leading fresh produce business specializing in the cultivation, packing, and marketing of a diverse range of salads and vegetables. Serving top Irish and UK retailers, they are committed to delivering high-quality produce through innovative farming practices and efficient operations.

Your Role:

As the General Manager , you will play a pivotal role in the company's success at the busiest time of year. Reporting directly to the board, you will work closely with the directors to streamline operations and enhance the quality standards. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Leadership and Management: Overseeing the teams to ensure effective and efficient operations across all levels of the business. Operational Excellence: Enhancing processes, systems, and workflows to drive productivity and quality improvements. Financial Oversight: Managing all financial aspects, ensuring robust financial health and strategic resource allocation. Farm and Machinery Management: Coordinating the use of our extensive harvest and cropping machinery to optimize performance and output.

What We're Looking For:

Experience: Proven track record in managing complex agricultural or fresh produce operations, particularly in people management, finance, and process optimization. Expertise: Strong understanding of the agricultural sector, including the logistics of large-scale farming and harvesting machinery. Leadership: Exceptional leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with senior directors and across all levels of the business to achieve shared goals.
