Excel Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Rigid Truck Driver for delivery routes across Galway City and County.

We are in search of a confident individual with a great work ethic who can handle working under pressure to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain your vehicle's cleanliness and presentability
  • Ensure that the load is correctly secured between each drop
  • Deliver goods from the truck directly to the customer
  • Provide a high level of customer service
  • Health and Safety conscious
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for the client

Requirements:

  • Full Clean 'C' License
  • Up-to-date CPC and Tacho cards
  • Previous Experience as a rigid driver
  • Manual Handling certification (training can be arranged)

This role involves delivering goods across Galway City and County, requiring a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail. As a Rigid Truck Driver, you will be working independently, managing your own routes and schedules while maintaining excellent communication with our team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safely operating a vehicle, handling equipment and navigating challenging road conditions. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet are essential in this role.

In addition to the responsibilities listed above, we also require our Rigid Truck Drivers to maintain accurate records of their deliveries, including any issues or challenges encountered during the course of their route.
