Investor Relations Supervisor - Private Equity

  • Administer a portfolio of hedge funds and private equity funds, providing services in line with administration agreements.
  • Lead and develop a small team of senior and junior administrators.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients within your portfolio.
  • Maintain shareholder registers and act as a transfer agent.
  • Process and confirm subscriptions, redemptions, and transfers.
  • Communicate regularly with investors to address inquiries and provide updates.
  • Manage payments and other financial transactions.
  • Provide all investor-related services for the company's investment fund clients.
  • Ensure that the expectations of fund participants are met, deadlines are adhered to, and the fund's rules and representations are followed.
  • Maintain and manage the filing system for transaction and investor records, ensuring efficiency and comprehensiveness in record-keeping.
  • Update investor records in transfer agency systems and perform periodic database updates and management.
  • Assist auditors, fund participants, and advisers as necessary.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in an investor relations environment, preferably within private equity and/or hedge funds.
  • A strong interest in financial markets, hedge funds, and the private equity industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
