About the Role

We are excited to share this opportunity across the HR Profession as we search for individuals who will join our team of talented experts and develop their capability as a HR Consultant. In this role, you will be a key part of our team, working closely with a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries. You will provide expert guidance on a variety of areas including Employee Relations, Employment Law compliance, and operational best practices. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver people-centric programmes including talent management, talent development, reward and recognition initiatives. Delivering customised solutions for our clients is what will enable them to achieve organisational success and employee engagement.

What you can expect in this role

  • You will operate as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expertise in HR strategy, policies, and best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Develop and implement tailored HR solutions to address client needs in areas such as recruitment, performance management, employee relations, organisational development, benchmarking.
  • Support clients in navigating complex employee relations issues, offering practical solutions and support where necessary.
  • Conduct audits of HR practices and systems to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients to design and execute change management initiatives, including workforce planning and restructuring.
  • Stay abreast on the latest HR trends and legal requirements, ensuring clients are provided with the necessary guidance and remain compliant.
  • Contribute to a knowledge-sharing and collegiate culture, supporting learning and development of others, appreciating and leveraging the diverse skills and expertise of colleagues.
  • Contribute to the research and design of training programmes and consultancy assignments.

What will you bring?

  • Degree in HR, Business Studies or Business Administration, or a related field (CIPD qualification or equivalent is a plus).
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience, working in a fast-paced HR Department, including providing advisory support.
  • A client-focused mindset with the ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
  • Exceptional communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to analyse complex issues and deliver practical, results-driven solutions.
  • Ability to develop reports and present findings to clients both in writing and in person.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to think ahead and identify unidentified issues that may arise.
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems, that provide for efficient ways of working, tools and techniques as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple client projects effectively.
  • Experience in pay & benefits benchmarking or gender pay gap reporting would be desirable though not essential.
  • Be a self-starter, who holds ethics and integrity high on their personal values and be an advocate for maintaining accountability and a positive team spirit.
  • Be a strong team player, as well as being able to work independently on specific tasks and assignments.
