Job Title: Clinical or Counselling Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our team in Dublin.

The ideal candidate will have a background in psychology, experience working in Clinical or Counselling settings, and the ability to manage caseloads, conduct research, and provide recovery-oriented clinical practices and therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Carry a caseload and perform duties required as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Provide individual and group therapeutic interventions/strategies to patients/residents as required.
  • Identify psychology needs in respect of patients and develop proposals for the Clinical Director.
  • Plan discharge or transfer of the patient/resident between services as appropriate.

Essential Criteria:

  • A recognised third level degree (QQI level 8 equivalent) in Psychology, validated by both the department of health and Psychological Society of Ireland.
  • At least 1-year satisfactory post-graduate experience in professional psychology.
  • The requisite knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
