What's the Role: Team Leader

What It Takes:

An important part of the staff role is to support our service users who have complex needs and help them to manage their emotions.

So the ability to be resilient, to communicate effectively and to utilise a variety of communication tools is essential.

Our dedicated staff team support our service users to learn and develop their independence skills which includes tasks such as shopping, cleaning their flat, personal care, accessing the community, budgeting, taking medication. Each staff member has something to bring to the role and we encourage staff to use their humour and sense of fun and creativity in supporting our service users with day to day life.

Where You Would Work: Easkey, Co. Sligo

Our Easkey scheme a small residential scheme caring for 4 ladies in their 60's. We are intellectual disabilities and nonverbal but definitely more on the elderly care side. Personal care is a massive part of our day, as is assisted dressing, feeding and incontinence care. Our ladies rely on staff for all aspects of daily living. Staff do the cleaning, cooking, appointments, activities. Team leaders are on the floor unlike some services.

Administration work is done during night shift when service users are in bed or via an office day if required

Salary Details:

Team Leader

Full Time Positions Available

€35,069 - €46,541 per annum

*Salary based on 39 hours per week. Salary dependent on qualification/experience. When the role requires sleep-in duties a minimum additional payment of €90.40 per night applies.
