Counterbalance & Reach Truck Driver

Renowned company who specializes in their field is seeking a skilled driver of both Counterbalance and Reach Truck. This position offers an immediate start for the successful candidate. Under instructions from the Warehouse/Transport Manager, your daily responsibilities will include operating the Counterbalance and Reach Truck in a safe and efficient manner. As an experienced operative, you will assist in warehouse operations by picking and packing goods using an RF Scanner via the reach truck. You will also be expected to assist with yard duties such as loading and unloading material while using the Counterbalance. You will be expected to adhere to all safety regulations and operate equipment efficiently to help meet daily targets.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operating counterbalance to load, unload, and move stock efficiently and safely.
  2. Operating the reach truck to assist in picking products, put away & replenishments.
  3. Safely ensure product is transported to and from designated areas.
  4. Perform daily pre-operation checks on Counterbalance and Reach Truck.
  5. Adhere to the company's health and safety policies.
  6. Ensuring the yard and warehouse is kept to an expected standard of cleanliness.
  7. Assist in general warehouse duties when required.

Requirements:

  1. Counterbalance License/Certificate compulsory.
  2. Valid Reach Truck License necessary.
  3. Manual Handling Certificate (Required).
  4. Understanding of workplace safety.
  5. Excellent communication in the English language, both written and verbal.
  6. Cooperative attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability.
  7. Be physically fit and able to lift up to 20Kgs.
  8. Experience using RF Scanners (Preferred).
