The Role & What You Will Be Doing:

Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here's how the Specialist role will make an impact:

  • Act as an expert for data management for Regulatory systems (extract, transform, load, reporting).
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge and practical application of RIM Veeva system, Documentum databases and other regulatory systems within scope of this role.
  • Lead the development and enhancement of data management scripts (python, dataframes, API) to make the consumption of information easier for Regulatory users around the globe.
  • Setup, share, improve and publish reports and dashboards on top of our various systems, including data mapping.
  • Monitor usage of existing systems and identify and track clean-up tasks, consistency checks, etc.
  • Design and execute deep informal testing, data migration, troubleshooting, and validation activities.
  • Create and maintain business documentation for Regulatory Systems within scope of this role and upload to the internal platform e.g. Step Guides, System Business Administration Manuals, and Job Aids.
  • Provide ability to convert business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to leverage existing technologies implemented within the organization to increase efficiency and consistency in the primary regulatory functions and the submission of dossiers around the globe.
  • Collaborate with the Business Process team to provide technical solutions to specific ad-hoc requests.
  • Interact effectively with colleagues across different regions.

About Your Skills & Experience:

For this role, we're looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

  • BS/BA in technology field, life sciences field, or other relevant discipline.
  • 5+ years experience with Applications/Systems used by Regulatory such as RIM systems, preferably within a large global company.
  • 5+ years experience with relational databases (SQL queries), web applications, REST APIs, and Python (dataframes).
  • Curious and multi-task oriented.
