Supply Chain Manager Role Overview

The Supply Chain Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain, encompassing sourcing, planning, warehouse, and procurement functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Sourcing & Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery reliability.
  2. Supply Chain Management: Oversee and manage end-to-end supply chain processes including demand planning, procurement, transportation, and inventory control.
  3. Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels to balance carrying costs with production requirements.
  4. Supplier & Vendor Management: Continuously assess supplier performance and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
  5. Cost Optimization & Risk Management: Identify opportunities for cost savings through process improvements, supplier consolidation, and negotiations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Manufacturing environment essential.
Skills:
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess data and trends for decision-making.
