We are actively looking for a Canteen Chef for our busy factory canteen of Kepak Ballybay.

Hours: Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm

Responsibilities
  1. Overall responsibility for kitchens daily operation.
  2. Ability to prepare and cook food in a busy environment.
  3. Prepare and cook food to the highest quality ensuring consistency in the final product.
  4. To work the daily operations of a kitchen handling and preparing raw and cooked foods in a canteen environment.
  5. To maintain a clean kitchen environment at all times in accordance with HACCP legislation.
  6. Ensures that high standards of Cleaning, Health and Safety are maintained throughout all kitchen areas at all times.
  7. Ordering of stock, merchandising and stock taking.
  8. Ensure a professional and courteous service.
  9. Lead the team to provide excellent food service.
  10. Establishes controls to reduce food and waste.
Qualifications / Experience
  1. Experience of the day to day running of a kitchen and or food production.
  2. A flair and passion for food is essential.
  3. Cooking Skills.
  4. HACCP.
  5. Fluent English.
  6. Must be available to work flexible hours from Monday to Saturday.
